Pawan Kumar Rai serves as the Head of EXIM & Logistics at NLMK India, overseeing all import and export activities as well as transportation requirements for internal and external customers.
He has over 24 years of experience in the thermal power and steel industries, including roles in turbine and generator refurbishment, erection activities for supercritical thermal power projects, sourcing for EPC contracts, and project coordination during greenfield developments.
Pawan holds a B.Tech in Machines and Apparatus from D.I. Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology, Moscow.
In his current role, he is responsible for compliance in import and export operations, optimization of EXIM and transportation costs, and improvement of on-time in-full (OTIF) delivery performance.
