Chief Human Resources Officer

Vivek Solanke serves as the Chief Human Resources Officer at NLMK India, overseeing the company’s HR and Industrial Relations functions.

He has over 21 years of professional experience, including more than 14 years in leadership roles in multinational companies in the manufacturing, power, and cement sectors. His expertise includes industrial relations, greenfield projects, HR policy development, wage settlements, statutory compliance, and HR digital transformation.

Vivek holds a Master’s degree in Personnel Management (HR & IR) from the Sinhgad Institute of Management Pune University, Postgraduate Diploma in Labour Laws and Labour Welfare from Pune University, and Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics from the University of Amravati. He has also completed the GNIIT program in Network Centred Computing.

In his current role at NLMK India, he is responsible for strategic HR management, talent development, employee relations, security management, and employee engagement, with a focus on organizational culture and long-term industrial stability.
