As a major extraction, steelmaking, and steel product manufacturing company, NLMK has a significant impact on the environment, as well as on local communities. The Company’s mining and production facilities are located in cities and regions across Russia, Denmark, Belgium, Italy, France, United States and India.
The efforts of these facilities in terms of developing local communities are aimed at determining common interests shared by NLMK Group, its employees, local communities, as well as governmental and local administrative bodies related to the sustainable development of the Company and the regions in which it operates and at creating a positive environment for both employees and local communities.
